ASID Allied Member, graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Interior Design and holds a certificate in Floral Design from the New York Botanical Garden. Miwa’s upbringing in Japan also helps inform her modern design aesthetic.
Miwa has gathered design experience from both coasts. In Los Angeles, she worked for a leading fashion retail headquarters as a store interior designer and for a private design firm with clients in the film and television industry. In New York, she helped to renovate office and studio space for renowned pop artist.
She also worked for a small firm doing boutique store design, some of this work was featured in Elle Decor Japan magazine. Miwa has a strong commitment to design excellence and attention to detail. She looks forward to working with you on your next project.
Hired at an interior architecture firm after studying architecture and interior design at Art University in Kyoto, she was promoted to a team leader after 4 years of working as an assistant. She undertook projects from well known companies such as Toyota, KDDI, and re-designed the AU designing studio. Her work is not only limited to Japan, but also in Germany, Hong Kong, and other showrooms. Her talents include space design, graphic and logo design.
Krystin has many years of experience as an interior designer working with model homes, commercial, hospitality, and residential design. Krystin even specialized in kitchen & bath design for several years. She enjoys assisting clients with a wide range of challenges by taking a project from conceptualization to design development, and through space planning, construction documentation, furniture and finish selection, and design execution by using her skills and knowledge. Her work can be seen throughout California and Hawaii.
Hikari Makino is a graduate from Palomar Community College, with an Associates in Art for Interior Design. Inspired by the various cultures that coexist in the United States, she made the decision to study interior design in San Diego after graduating high school in her hometown Nagano, Japan. Her inspirations come from her regular walks around town, finding new restaurants, and studying different buildings that she sees. She also enriches her creativity from communicating with her international friends from college everyday.
Alex graduated from Anahuac University in Mexico City with a Bachelors in Architecture. During her student years, she worked for an architectural firm, specializing in residential and commercial design and construction. She also spent a semester abroad in Bremen, Germany, where her love for design, art, and traveling grew. After graduation, she relocated to San Diego. She has also worked on freelance residential and commercial design projects for clients in Mexico City. Alex enjoys practicing yoga, going to the beach, and hiking in her free time.
